At Manchester Airport there’s a perfect Pick Up & Drop Off car park for every terminal and budget.
We’ve got Pick Up & Drop Off areas directly outside Departures at every terminal – ideal if you just want to touch down for long enough to unload luggage, or you want to be waiting when someone’s flight gets in.
There’s a free Drop Off area, too – a bit further from the terminals, but a free shuttle bus operates 24/7 and journeys take just a few minutes.

Directions to Manchester Airport Terminal 1 Drop Off
Leave the M56 at Junction 5 and follow the signs for Terminal 1.
You will see the Hilton Hotel, followed quickly by the Clayton Hotel on your left-hand side.
Take the ramp to the left and enter the car park under the 'Drop Off' sign on the left-hand side.

Directions to Manchester Airport Terminal 2 Drop Off
Terminal 2 upper forecourt is conveniently located next to the main check-in hall.
To access the upper forecourt, exit the M56 at Junction 5 and keep left up the slip road, following the signs for Terminal 2.
At the first roundabout, at the top of the slip road, take the 2nd exit, signposted for Terminal 2.
At the second roundabout (Flag Island) take the 3rd exit, signposted for T2 ‘Drop Off’.
Take the ramp up to the forecourt, which is conveniently located next to the main check-in hall.
There is a dedicated drop-off point on the forecourt located in Zone 2.

Directions to Manchester Airport Terminal 3 Drop Off
Follow the signposts for Terminals 1 and 3. You will see the Hilton Hotel, followed quickly by Clayton Hotel, on your left-hand side.
Shortly afterwards you will reach a roundabout. Take the first exit at this roundabout.
At the next (mini) roundabout, take the 3rd exit. Continue until you reach a second mini roundabout.
At the roundabout take the 2nd exit; the 'Drop Off' area is located in front of the terminal straight ahead.
Free Drop Off Area
All passengers can use our free Drop Off area, located in JetParks 1.
A free shuttle bus will take passengers to their terminal, with journeys taking around 6 minutes. The shuttle bus service runs 24/7, with marshals on hand to assist.
And if you want to accompany a passenger to their terminal to help with luggage or say goodbye, the shuttle bus is free for you, too.

Drop Off for Blue Badge holders

Payments cannot be made using cash or cheque. Additionally, no payment for our drop-off and pick-up areas can be made upon exiting, as there are no payment barriers in these areas. If payment is not received by midnight the following day, a £100.00 Parking Charge Notice will be issued, which will be reduced to £60.00 if paid within 14 days.
Payment must be made by midnight the day after your visit to avoid a Parking Charge being sent to the registered vehicle holder.
You can set up an account and add a payment card, which will automatically take payment after each journey through one of the barrierless drop-up or pick-up areas. To do this, please visit: pay.manchesterairport.co.uk
Please note it is your responsibility to ensure there is a valid payment method on your account before using a drop-off or pick-up area.
If you do not pre-register or pay as a guest before midnight the next day, a Parking Charge will be sent to the registered vehicle holder.
No, payment can only be made after you have visited a drop-off or pick-up area at Manchester Airport. To avoid a parking charge, payment must be made by midnight the day after your visit. Alternatively, you can create an account and add a payment card to enable automatic payments for each of your journeys. You can create an account by visiting: pay.manchesterairport.co.uk

Non-payment will result in a £100 Parking Charge, reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days. If you wish to appeal a Parking Charge Notice you have received, please visit the APCOA website.
Passengers who hold a valid blue badge will be able to access drop-off areas free of charge please remember this is for drop-off only. To use this service, the travelling passenger must produce their blue badge to the traffic marshals when entering the forecourt area.
